SMELLMAN is a 5-mike-only rock acapella group. Its founding members were formerly in the acapella group "Chin<>Para". By July 2007, SMELLMAN's present lineup had formed.

SMELLMAN's sound... an ever-changing chorus full of strong vocal effects that breaks down all preconceptions of what acapella is. SMELLMAN's innovation... creating a massive feeling of 3-in-1 harmony by using rich voice-percussion and bass. SMELLMAN's style... "Ningen music"... moving human music.

These days, SMELLMAN music is centered in Tokyo's live-club scene.

In the past, SMELLMAN has appeared at "Rock in Japan Festival 2009", one of Japan's largest open-air rock happenings.

SMELLMAN continues making a difference to acapella and the music scene.
